Bridget has been vicar of St Martin's since September 2017, having moved here from Cambridge, where she trained at Ridley Hall and served her curacy. Before ordination Bridget was a neurophysiotherapist specialising in stroke rehab', a calling that she first became passionate about as a teenager. She is a trained Spiritual director, and author of the Grove Book “Meeting Jesus in John’s Gospel: Seven Encounters with Women”.
As vicar, Bridget sees her role as enabling people to grow in faith in their everyday lives, to share the transforming love of Jesus Christ, and to contribute to the flourishing of Sherwood and Nottingham. She is actively involved in encouraging prayer and discipleship in the diocese, and loves to collaborate with other local churches.
Bridget enjoys dancing, gardening and reading; she supports Manchester City; and loves to get out in the countryside for walking. She is married to Dave, and has three adult children.
